Women's Missionary Meeting
Once a month, on a Tuesday morning, the Women’s Missionary Group meets.   During this time, they have a feature missionary, a speaker, and prayer time.   Once a year, they hold their Annual Picnic.   This is a great way to get to know the older women of Berean, and it is a wonderful source of encouragement for our missionaries.  

Spring Brunch
During the spring, the women’s committee puts on a spring brunch.   Last year, it was a tea party, and it was neat to see the different arrangements and decorations on each table!   The purpose of this is to encourage women to bring in their friends, neighbors, and co-workers who are outside of the church environment.   It is a great way to introduce non-church-going people to our church, and has always been a great time to socialize!   There is always music and a special speaker. Our spring brunch this year is Saturday, April 25.

Fall Retreat
Once a year, the women’s committee plans a retreat.   The location is varied, sometimes involving a ladies’ seminar, and sometimes involving a getaway at a cabin.   Whatever it may be, it’s always an enriching time of fellowship and encouragement, and a unique way to see different personalities and characters emerge apart from our Sunday services.

Our retreat this year is at Maranatha Bible & Missionary Conference in Muskegon on September 26-27, 2008. Shelly Beach is the speaker. If you'd like to attend, sign-up sheets are available on Sundays.  

Calling Program, Meals
We have a group of women who volunteer to visit our shut-in members. This is usually done in groups of two.

Those who are willing to fix a meal are called on when a member of our church is in need of assistance.
